The black and white wall cover plates allow you to choose a suitable installation scheme according to your environment, making your installation more visually appealing. The transmitter will operate the remote receiver from 1 foot to a maximum of 30 feet, though the distance is reduced when batteries are low or when the receiver is inside a metal enclosure.

The remote receiver may be wall mounted or installed in the appliance per the appliance homeowner's manual. A generic wiring diagram for the receiver is provided, including the terminal block on millivolt gas valves and wiring for electronic spark ignitions.

The Thermostatic On/Off Remote Control Set is designed for Millivolt Valve or Electric Spark Ignition Module. Due to the sensitive temperature monitoring components in the transmitter, it is necessary to allow the transmitter to stabilize to room temperature before accurate room temperature is displayed. If the transmitter is activated from a severely cold condition, allow 15 minutes for an accurate temperature reading to appear on the LCD.

Please note that this kit requires two (2) "AAA" and four (4) "AA" alkaline batteries, which are not included in the box. You will need to purchase them separately.
